While going up a steep hill on the Interstate with my stretched chains, the Camaro would downshift when it never had to before. It down shifted at 10 miles an hour slower going up the hill. Gas mileage suffered as well.
There was a guy who posted today, or yesterday, that he has 80,000 miles and threw a code for chains. Personally, having changed the chains myself, I would have put on new chains having it down that far anyway with your mileage.

yea, a tune is able to make it chop more but I also think it sounds really cool. Congrats on being the first ever with a cammed LLT camaro! Hopefully tuning won't be an issue and you'll have one badass ride

Actually...hes the 2nd ...but currently the only existing one that I know of!

I wish I wasn't at work so I could listen to the video.

I'm guessing he meant the tuner could increase the chop by increase cam/valve (or whatever its called) overlap at idle. The Trifecta tune offered that, but some people complained it caused their car to stall, and in my case I never really fully trusted it was OK for the engine, so proceed with caution. If you are happy with how it sounds now at idle, I think I'd leave it.

Yea I'm the second one with cams but no biggie I just want to see how much power can be had out of our engines without FI mace sent me a email and wants me to take a video once its tuned and send it to them maybe to put on the website for marketing purposes I think it was a good investment time consuming but good overall

I like how it sounds and wouldn't mess with it too much at idle. I'm picturing the mechanics pulling a Ferris Bueller with your car this weekend.

Nice,

So with your new chains/cams and un-finished tuning you've gained 25rwhp and 21 TQ so far.

Lets hope you can add a good chunk to that number!

Hey...another thing. If its possible for you to grab screen shots of your dyno run BEFORE you had the cams installed, and then one after so we can see entire dyno run, that would be great.

Don't forget to ask your dyno guy what a stock Camaro (V6 or SS) dynos on his machine.
