My exhaust is entirely stock, except for open y-pipes between my resonators and mufflers. Not quite as loud as an all-out muffler delete, but if I'm beside someone's house, they can hear me inside it.

so i have a 2014 2SS LS3. CAI intake and muffler delete so far. love the natural sound of this beautiful motor. do you guys think if i put shorty headers an high flow cats on it will be too loud without mufflers? im in CA so not really wanting to invest in long tubes right now. an i have also learned to take off slowly/quietly from stop lights and get the gears up/throttle down when the black an whites are in sight. i have seen people on here say headers with no mufflers is too much. what do u guys think

thought I'd add to the "loud" car thread: LT headers (no cats) X pipe out axle back Borla ATAK: (i don't have a db measuring device)

Mines loud enough that you can hear me about half a mile out driving normal. Long tubes and blown out glasspacks. No cats or res.
ridiculously loud driving around anywhere but I love it lol

If I wanted to get straight pipes from the headers back (with x pipe ) what would be the cheapest way?
