Here's a thought. If you're an aggressive driver, chances are you're already doing harsh things to the drivetrain. If you want the VTC to give you a little better throttle response to improve your daily driving and would like to have an occassional burst, you're probably going to be more gentle on the drivetrain than the person who is characterized by aggressive driving, without a VTC. Besides, you don't have to drive around on 9 all the time. Is a VTC any more harsh on the engine than those cars prior to "Drive by wire"? With it set on 5 it's still has a little more lag than direct linkage. At least that's the way I see it. Thoughts?

I was a bit skeptical before purchasing mine. I read threads on top of threads about it and you cannot find 1 bad review. For a little less than $200 your car throttle response is incredible! I put it on SP9 out the driveway, thinking that it couldnt be that serious... boy was I wrong! I damn near smoked up the driveway! lol

I bought a VTC for my car. Haven't installed it yet because my car is still sleeping. I'm looking forward to playing with it once the weather improves.
Mods are like "Jays" potato chips, you can't just do one!

All Long Tube header companies say their headers are intended for off road use only. I would say almost all, if not all performance based modifications that aren't 50 state legal, will have some kind of warning, to cover their own ass. Doesn't make one modification better/worse than another.

Bottom line, all performance based mods are at the discretion of the person buying/using them. There are a lot of threads that say the VTC has a fail safe that puts the car in reduced mode, or revert the throttle response back to stock, if there are ever any issues with the VTC.

I guess it hasn't been said enough. So here goes.....

BEST MOD FOR $200 BUCKS

All Mods carry risk. Either get it, or don't but the benefit is un-deniable as so many others have stated.

I don't have actual proof of this but it's ironic that the issue never happened until I installed it and it stopped after I pulled it.
Same symptoms for my car.

Usually if you are getting that "reduced engine power" change your spark plugs. There is usually a misfire going on.

Vitesse Throttle Controller - Anything I have to worry about?

Spark plugs can go at anytime. That's what a warranty is for. It's an electrical item.

I'm thinking the ECM may be a little different in a 2014-2015. The website says "2010-2011 Camaro" or "2012+ ZL1". So I'm sure there maybe some differences in factory tuning on a 2015 Camaro.

Those are appearance and sound mods, not performance mods.
