Remember, this thread is only measuring the age of Z28 owners who would hang out on an online forum.

I'd be interested to see the age of owners versus the age of their children. I'll bet there's a reasonable correlation between the owner turning over-35 (middle age) and the owner's children getting old enough to have their own car, or be out of the house.

That's when guys hit their highest earning years, and lowest cost-of-living, and confidence that they've made good choices up to this point and deserve a little persona pleasure.

I'd also be curious what led to the Z28. Was it your first leap into such a car (straight out of the SUV/mini-van world) or did you have other toys.

We might find guys who had a Camaro in the 70s (when a teen/20s could afford such things), then.... life happened..... now kids are grown and it's time to get back in a Camaro.

I have a 2.5 yr old and one on the way. Job security for the next 10 to 16 yrs. I've got a hand full of older vehicles which I've spent time and money on, but have not made significant progress due to my line of work, over the last 12 yrs. This was more of an opportunity to get out from under the older vehicles and into a vehicle my young family could enjoy through the years.

Well, I'm 29, no kids, not married, very well paying job and have multiple other "toys" and wanted a track car that wasn't going to break the bank with maintenance costs and had a V-8. I've had other performance cars, CTS-Vs, supercharged C6 Z06, camaros, etc.

Some people spend money on vacations, luxurious homes, clothes, watches, etc... I spend money on cars lol.
