If you decide to do what others are saying they would do....Just make sure you don't get arrested or caught on cam when you take retaliation. Because it will cost alot more than your $500 deductible... and then they will be posting on how dumb you were to do wat you did.

:( My heart goes out to you.

I've had this happen before to a '99 T/A. It sucks and it took me almost 25 years to figure out who did it, but it's a little late now.

I'd be concerned they'd do it again after you got it repaired.

This is the worst keying I've ever seen pics of.

that is a brand new parking structure with high tech security, I think they didn't want to bother looking for you. I would insist and have them figure out who did it.

I'm not sure "horrific" even covers that. Wow, that is the worst key job I have ever seen. To write something like that on the hood and take the time to hit all body panels is just amazing to me. Amazing because nobody saw a thing. Right!

I doubt it.....random crime seldom involves such hatred. You might want to check the same garage to see if someone else has another Camaro like yours parked in it on a semi-regular basis...maybe an employee in the area or something. Deliberate damage to every panel on your car and the message on the trunk indicates to me that it was a case of mistaken identity.....find the car they wanted to vandalize, and talk to the owner...you might find the people who did the keying.

In South Africa, some cars get equipped with flamethrowers by the doors. This, with a good security system might be a great idea to prevent something like this!!!

Man I am really sorry to hear this. Really sucks how you can not reward yourself for working hard anymore with a nice vehicle because someone in the world has to damage it. I hope you find who did it, but unfortunately even finding out who did it will not replace your paint job and the memory of it being damaged so you may be better off not knowing.

Good luck with the fixes and I hope someone is willing to help you out and paint this for you rather quick so your car is new again.

I'm so sorry that your car was vandalized.

When I first saw the title, I thought you meant that you just picked up the keys to your new car for the first time. So the image that awaited was even more shocking.

Someone smashed my passenger window recently, but that feels like nothing compared to this. My guess is that you won't feel better again until it's repainted, and even then you won't ever feel like the car is safe. It's a sad world out there sometimes. Just know that you're not alone in this, that there really are people out there that have no respect for the property of others, and that bad things do happen to good people sometimes.
