I spoke with TED @ jannetty racing and he KNOWS HIS STUFF with the 5th gen's.... He recommended CAI's cold air intake, SCT X3 programmer(with HIS custom program) and Dynatech LT headers, and it's a package for $1999...
WOW this package REALLY opens up the L99 SS's.... This is up there with my 2000 SS LS6.... THANK YOU TED.... I'm your newest customer and here to stay! |

PS..... DON'T waste ur $$$ on SHORTY HEADERS... I am being told by TECH's and USERS they don't work much better then the stock manifolds! If you want to change, go Long Tube with HIGH FLOW cats!

A good intake is key as well. I have a tune vararam on my LS3 SS and its an incredible intake with no driveability issues with the new design. My car feels like a monster with full exhaust, vararam and my street tune so far. I haven't even tuned WOT yet, part throttle is enough to throw me back in my seat. Janetty is a great guy, if I wasn't a DIY guy I would have all my work done by him. Ken

Hey guys I have a question. If I purchase the TSP AFM delete kit (which is basically a swapping out of the AFM lifters), will I be able to use LS3 specific cams with no problems, or does more need to be done?

Starting to update broken links. Including Convertible specific parts. Going to finish it out soon and get ready for LFX and LSA upgrades.
