Matt: I did the heads and of course, the entire valvetrain. The original Victor Jr intake I ported was recently replaced with the LXR one shown in the shots.

Just got a report from Bowling Green that he went 10.01 at 132 on its virgin pass with the fresh engine. (6.37 at 108 in the 1/8) The rev limiter was hit three times during the pass (set incorrectly at 6800 RPM) and was on it hard for the last 200 feet. Should go well into the nines but only once at least because he forgot his competition license.

I believe Robin Lawrence (Holley) is there to help out with the new engine's electrical bugs but be sure, this car will be into the mid-nines at the next outing!

That is insane, only problem is I love the way a high compression 347 or 408 sounds on the bottle flying down the track!! Although I love the way my stock ls3 sounds, it could actually happen thanks to Ed!! lol
