Good eye, I had met up with a group of Camaro drivers and we went for a cruise that ended up at the spot of the pic. Nice scenic shots.

Thanks. Spent a lot of time and gas cruising hill street, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista and most of San Diego county while stationed at Camp Pendleton back in the 80's and 90's.

I remember when Top Gun and Heart Break Ridge was being filmed but I missed out on both while deployed especially since my unit was in Heart Break Ridge. I wonder if the house that was used for "Charlie" from Top Gun is still there?

My favorite spot for a good drive when I lived in Laguna Niguel was Ortega Hwy 74 from I-5 at San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore to I-15. A great drive!

Now, back on topic, I didn't mean to thread jack. Nice plate by the way.
