I will say this, props to ya man! When i look at things like this I am amazed every time! I think you put a lot of time and work as well as money mainly for the parts.
I've seen the VW Bug/Rolls Royce from the 70's and I often wondered why would someone do this? And I got to thinking that either someone wanted to make a statement, or they truly liked it. Well, they said it couldn't be done. yet there it is. |

Haha, still just as ugly and embarrasing as the first time I saw it. I think he's just trolling. Please burn this abomination to the ground if you haven't done so already.

Does it drive?
I can only imagine how lucky people are when The Tamaro passes them on the highways of the West. And I do mean passes, cause we travel fast
These pic's are from a recent trip out to Costa Mesa California. It was a beautiful drive, and currently she has 243,XXX miles

Update on progress...
I have been so busy, but Great work must go on!!!
I have finished the dash, my version of the Bugatti. I totally transformed it and gave it a near factory level of fit and finish. The dash face itself glows ethereally I even included pic's of old dash and all torn apart. Yes, I kept driving with no dash These pictures are not all up to date... Headliner is also in. With clear vinyl and custom pattern it has 15 pieces of fabric I stitched together. Of course it lights up and has the side stripes doubled for a cool airplane type look ![]() Custom fitted fire thorn red carpet is also in Look closely and you can see every bit of blue plastic has been covered in black Suede. Look closer and you can see a set of Hertz MLK 320 components (2 sets) and I have 3,000 watts RMS now to 12 speakers. Better than a concert and not one rattle ![]() Finally you will see I have started on the final bit of interior, the seats. Whether they have LED's or not they are epic. That's black suede where you sit and red alligator trim. CHECK OUT THAT DIAMOND STITCH BITCHES!!! Yup, I'm all man

Somethings for sale, but not what or why you would think.
I am actively trying to sell my 2010 Inferno Orange Camaro SS/RS, second picture below http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=406318
I am only selling to buy a new Stingray Corvette. I mean obviously I don't need a CA maro when I have a TAMARO!!! ![]() First picture is color I will get, and I do have plans for the Vette too The greatest thing will be when I have the Stingray and Tamaro and I will only ever drive THE TAMARO!!!

I have to say...while it is not my favorite car ever....you have put a substantial amount of work and love into that car. Anyone who sits there and rips on it is just an ass.....as you stated in your original post...just ignore them. Most of the Internet badasses on here probably wouldn't have the skills or balls to do half of what you've done with that Taurus. I love the idea of taking your DD and turning into something unique (and let's be honest, that's a ton of hours and knowledge you've gained by working on that car.....and that knowledge could be applied to any other vehicle).
Strong work, bud.....I would love to see what you would do with the right bank account and the future Stingray. Someone who may actually have the balls to try and modify something on their own and create their own car versus just lowering it and throwing the same old boring stickers on there and thinking it's the most unique car out there. Boom goes the stereo!
"That is the best sounding stereo I have ever heard"
"Are you for real? It's so loud, and clear!" "I wasn't expecting that!" I've been doing stereo's for longer than I would like to say. I'm "officially" done with The Tamaro's It has the following: JVC DVD Bluetooth 6" Touchscreen with 3 sets of 4V Pre-outs Hifonics Brutus 4x150RMS at 4ohm amp (for front mid's and lower tweets) Hifonics Brutus 4x60RMS at 4ohm (high tweets and rear mids) 1x800RMS at 2ohm for 2 8" subs in rear deck Hifonics Brutus 1x2000RMS at 1ohm (For 10" subs) 2 Infinity Reference 8" subs 350RMS each 15mm excursion 2 Pioneer Competition 10" subs 1000RMS each 18mm excursion 2 sets of Hertz MLK 165 Component sets, Mids 150 RMS Tweets 60 RMS] 240 Amp alternator (3G) 0 Guage HFC for power and ground There are no rattles, buzzing, etc. Sound off the car has a dead sound, neutral. The front stage has near perfect imaging with lower mids and tweets for volume and high tweeters to bring the stage up to eye level. Bass is clear and clean mid bass from 8's and 10's for spine rattling bass. For clarity 10's are disabled. I am particularly proud of the rear deck, third version and the amp mounting. The trunk still holds more than a Camaro and looks nearly stock Enjoy the pic's, and yes it sounds better than your car, cheers

Almost done with interior...
Some of this stuff has been done a while, just no good camera photos
If you look closely every single bit of blue plastic has been covered by black suede. Headliner is in. Rear deck is re done and I'm finally happy with it. Heck even all the seats are done, well cept the one I use daily ![]() Still gotta do drivers seat, wrap steering wheel and ugh, seatbelts ![]() Oh, check out the front head rest, Sinnamon finally has her name
