Everyone keeps acting like the the G8 GT would be a step down in performance.

The G8 GT is a step up in performance (straight line performance) compared to the V6 Camaro.

As much as I love the 2010 Camaro, if I had a couple small kids I'd most likely have a G8 GT or G8 GXP right now.
