I live in Kailua-Kona part-time. I spend time in California and Kailua-Kona. Wish I could bring my car over everytime I go over which is about every 6 weeks. Hope you enjoy your car! Aloha!

Canceled my order and i feel pretty good about it. Servco said it prob wouldnt be in till this winter or maybe 2010. Now im going to save for the Z28 or grab a used 2SS in a year for under 30k. Well thats my plans, cant wait to see everyone driving their cars!!

anybody hear if any of the oahu dealers were going forward with the unveiling? i'm thinking no because i don't think any cars have reached here yet. but i could be wrong. if anybody knows anything please inform us. i would love to head down to check things out

haole, i totally understand where you're coming from. look but no touch. i was thinking of letting servco hold on to my car a few days after it came in to use on their showroom floor if they could give me some kind of discount on some parts. i think it could be a fair trade

I can understand too. I wouldnt let anyone drive mine either when it comes in.

Just wondering if anyone knows a good performance shop here on Oahu? I have a couple of mods I plan on implementing before the end of the year. I was planing on sending it directly from the factory to Ligenfelter for a SC install and Corsa exhausts, but looks like they wont be ready to start installation until my car arrives to Hawaii. Then its just not feasible to send it back to the mainland for the upgrade due to shipping costs.

It seems that Big Island Chevrolet dealers in Hilo and Kona have their dealership for sale. The newspaper said they're looking for new owners due to poor sales. When asked if they were going to shut down, they figured out that the person they were talking to was working for the press and decided to say nothing else.

Did you guys see that tread that tracks vin #'s. Hawaii has a total of five. Two at leeward servco, 1LT, one 2SS. One at windward servco, 2LT. One at JN, 1LT. and one at cutter, 2SS.

i think the v6 are the demo cars.... (dealer can't sell them - owned by GM)

at least i hope so.... i want to test drive them....
