Question on VIN numbers....Vin numbers are posting at 138xxx...is that 138,000 Camaro's that have been produced or am I reading the VIN number wrong?

The '1' doesnt count, just the 38,000, so that's how many cars have been produced..I Think!

so what happens after they go above the 100 thousand mark ?

Thanks...that sounds like a more reasonable number although the VIN shows positions 12-17...the last 6 digits...as the Production Serial Number.
