For those of you who got there sc replaced what is the part number they are using? Also how do we know if the new unit is the revised sc?

I agree about a likely performance gain. Seems to pull stronger and more easily. The old charger may have contributed to some drivetrain hp loss. My pulley had a lot of slack and the two spindles or rotors had many grooves.

19303635 Superchar 3.342 N Others have reported that this is the same part number as the original SC, so visually, there may not be a way to tell from the outside. However once it's replaced, you'll be able to tell from the lack of rattle as well as slightly improved response. |

That's strange mine was replaced last August and the part number on the side of the sc is 12622236. At the time I asked my dealer about that and they told me it was a differ part number than the original?

Just had the supercharger recall done on my 2012 CTF. I swear I can feel the difference on power and throttle response! BTW Rodgers Chevrolet is an awesome dealership!!

If it was replaced last August it's the same type they took off, which doesn't have a solid isolator. This is the main reason the TSB came out because they were replacing SC's that will just fail again.

Is that a fact or an opinion? Please reference your source please? I had my unit replaced in April and it has the solid isolator. This supercharger is much quieter than the original unit.
