Also Kev please tell me you have a Hemi Orange Chally. If not thn fine but I can't beleive they dropped that color for the Red, why not have both. Although I like that they brought back the Plum Crazy Purple this year and the Detinator Yellow last year. They really look like Chargers and Road Runners in those colors! But seriuosly bring back Hemi Orange and get rid of some other color!

I agree it should be an option but try adding that to the assembly line ,lol! But I'm telling you the solid rear is actually pretty civil and great for the draag strip obviously. And if you stiffen it it is not bad on a road course. You would be shocked at how many people I know that swapped their IRS out of their early '00s Terminators for solid rears. At the time I thoghut they were crazy but when I saw what they did and what they could do I was like oh okay that makes sense. I guess it depends on what the car is gonig to be used for.

For instance my toys are weekend warriors at best, and only on sunny days! So IRS is not a necessary for me, but even so my bros '05 Stang has held up great and was always more comfortable for cross country driving than my Vette or SS. The SS seats hurt the back of my knees but I have bad knees so that's why. And if your a dragger htan again IRS is not needed. Bu if you are buying a car and don't tweak it and want to hit the road course than IRS is your friend!

What makes you think the 5.0 won't be boost friendly? Ford designed that motor with thick bulkheads, forged crank, AND provisions for an ecoboost package. They knew people where gonna play with this motor and did build it for boost. Someone posted a pretty in depth article on the 5.0 here I think and it explains pretty well about this motor. They even designed it with DI provisions.

But, if this was an arms race, and this is coming from a GM guy. I'm pretty sure Ford would be the USA and GM Russia. Our cars are built here not Canada! And last time I checked Russia gave up on the arms race first, like GM with the Camaro in 2002. Ford has not had the Mustang missing from it's lineup since '64!

And I'm juts poking fun because I love GM cars and the Vette and Camaro, and as a previous owner of both I can tell you they're great cars. I drive everything GM except my car now because GM has not upped their ante with a Z28 yet, and with a family I can't have a Vette anymore!

I was not taking anything out of context. we were comparing the upping of the power of the Mustang and I said from Scott's interview that the Camaro isn't going to be taking it lying down, and then I said in the post you are replying to it was the never ending battle of supremesy... and compared it to the arms race.... Whose got the most power, that is all.. And yes since alot of people feel that GM is owned my the US Government now We should be considered the USA (not to mention this IS the Camaro5 forum) And to us Ford is considered the Enemy.... I didn't mean to get you all upset cause I compared Ford to the USSR... I was just having a fun comparison with you is all.. No insult was really intended.

The M3 does, and the Evo I think only had it on their non production cars or maybe the Evo VII or VIII, not the X for sure I drove one last year! Ha, never had an issue dude, just got in a heated discussion Isn't there a paint, I believe it's on the ZR1. Bad thing is, I believe it costs like $6000 or maybe even $60000 a gallon? Maybe Shelby could do that on the Supersnake or something.

I am very ford of the SRA myself Don't know how many terminators I saw get towed off fom the track with broken IRSs. I would actually predict, if there isn't one already, someone will be making an SRA kit for the Camaro to take the abuse of high torue drag runs.
