True in previous years, but supposedly the '10 GT500 is supposed to be a drastic change. I really like the bumper treatment on the Motor Trend Z/28 .

Its a "one of a kind" and was built here in the Detroit area by a guy known as "the aluminum doctor" or "Dr. Aluminum". Nice huh?

Rebuild the Z28 as the next Copo... build it for the track, put a chambered exhaust. the magnetic ride control and the ceramic brakes fro mthe ZR1 on it, add a functional scoop and ram-air. Shed the Convenience and Connectivity Package. shed the 16 way power seats wtih memory. Shed the leather... Simple supportive bucket seats in cloth. As much as i hate to say it... Shed the Ambient Lighting as well.. Get the car down to 3500-3600 range with the suspension upgrade... This is the car they should build. |

my point is that you commented on how the loanmakers have a say in how GM uses the money. and how you dont think that the same would apply to you. and I gave you a perfect example of how it would apply to you.

I'm pretty excited about this possibility... I think this route is the most efficient for GM as far as using the same engine as the CTS-V, a few cosmetic upgrades/changes (which ever you prefer). 550 or so hp is exactly what I've been crossing my fingers for, although I wont be needing 550 hp for anything.
Do you think its pointless to buy a 550 hp Camaro if your not going to race it (legally)? If a non-collector buys this "Z28" is it smart to keep the miles low to preserve value or should you drive it normally? I guess my real question is, if one were to buy this, do you buy it to keep it in a garage? |
