yup, 5yr/100k mile powertrain warranty with some abuse expected along the way. Better to go with those cylinder walls that are 50% thicker than the LS7's

1st Post! I was close to ordering a SS but going to wait for the Z28. Need the extra seats (so no Vette) to haul 2 kids + do a track day / Auto -X once in a while. 500+ Supercharged HP with a factory warranty. Sign me up.

Is the CTS-V supercharged with TVS1900? If so, could the Z-28 have a TVS2300 dropped in and up the HP numbers along with a tune?

You should be able to use any of the SC kits out there on LSA; yes it comes with the 1900.

I think that would be uber-cool, but they'd need to engineer a new blower set-up, probably unique to Camaro's chassis, since we already know the OEM CTS-V upper manifold won't fit. I don't know that GM would want to pirate the entire blower from the LS9, but that could work too. I think GM could easily take an LSA long block (since it would be less expensive than LS9), throw an LS9 SC on there, and call it good. Then, the boost would probably be between CTS-V's 9.5 lbs. and ZR1's 10.5 psi., and the CTS-V's cam would probably keep the power level below 600 so it won't get too close to ZR1 (I expect we'll see ZR1 get some more power in a year or two anyways, but I'm trying to be conservative). I think this might help control engineering costs and utilize existing components, maybe keeping costs under better control. This way, I think we'd have a reasonably priced engine with performance numbers between CTS-V and ZR1; right where I think Z28 needs to be in order to keep up with the GT500.
