Need help! You help me make the descision

Some of you know of me.

I have a descently modded SS
Adm race intake/ TVS 2300@ 8psi/ Headers 1 7/8 3in cutom exhaust back.
x pipe...
suspension , subframes tunnel brace, and stall
540 rwhp with stall locked

My Cts-v has some light mods but makes some mad HP

The local Ford dealer has an all black 2011 Svt with syn stripe delete GT500.
list for 57k they will do a key swap with the CTS-v.....

i priced around....no one was willing to give me more than 49,800 for the caddy Cts-v sedan( 2010)

a 8 psi SS and a 9 psi Gt500.

Especailly since the new GT500 can handle with the track pac.( better than the Grand sport vette at VIR)

Yes the caddy is nice fast and able to beat a stock or lightly modded Gt500 ( even a 2011)

But it is a SHelby....and its the best handling Gt500 to date.
Hp is of no concern as a pulley swap a catlessback and tune should yield another 90 hp.

Should i do this?

I like the looks of both....how cool would it be to have the SS and Gt500

I could be an Ambassador of good will amoung SS owners and Gt500 owners.

OR should i wait and be a 2 camaro owner my s/c SS and the Z28??

My wife, god bless her.....always says, "whatever make you happy".

(i'll never trade her in)

Having 2 camaro's is Ok too. i had 2 Gto's that were quite different.

thanks guys i'm counting on your pro and cons

Do what makes YOU happy .. me, I'd keep that CTS-V as that is one BMF!! .. However, I have always like thet GT500 and the 2011 model is a BMF as well!!!

In the end you have to be happy with your decision ... if you can afford it and you will be happy, go for it!!

I've never talked to you crowley

you have one Bad Mofo!!! Love everything you've done son!

Its a key swap....no money involved.

i'm thinking the Shelby might be collectable...since it the first of them to actually handle and beat a stock Vette around a track....this is a first for ford.

remeber guys.....its the Gt500(2011) or Keep the Cts-V or wait for the Maro Z

Stryker.....i know...but 4k miles vs brand new. + No money exchanged.

i know the CTS-v goes 'Fast with Class". the GN mantra

And we know the Gt500 will respond very well to mods....and its lighter than the V

I'm shopping for a V for my wife right now. I'd keep the Caddy for sure.

You have the best of both worlds going right now.

Personally if I had the money I would have gotten a GT500 and I would still make that decision today hands down. So GT500 any day.

At the end of the day you will do what makes you happy and whatever makes the most sense to you. I know that for us guys every deal is a great deal and hard to pass up. Heck Im trying to justify trading my car in for an SS after only having mine for 6 months...
