Ordering tomorrow - any last tips?

I'm going to order my Camaro tomorrow. I already have a good quote, is there anything else I should make sure I pay attention to? For the record - 2SS/RS 6A, SIM, gray interior, polished wheels, no sunroof, no stripes, nothing else.

I already to plan to make as part of the sales contract:
1.) no dealer badging
2.) do not mount front license plate bracket, I will provide my own
3.) no vin etching or undercoating or anything else

I have it on good authority that they add wheel locks to all their cars and charge $90 for it. Seems high. Do they even slow down a thief?

Anyway, I would appreciate any additional wisdom to make it as smooth as possible. Thank you all for the knowledge I've already gleaned from lurking here the last several weeks. It was nice to see that I wasn't the only one that had a hell of a time picking a color.

What color interior trim will you have? Is it silver?

Re: the trim - it is silver. I think the gray interior (or beige) plus no sunroof really helps open it up. Feels less claustrophobic. (the extra light from the sunroof seems to be countered by the reduced headroom - at least I think so.)

Re: why no VIN etching - dealers usually charge way, way too much for the service. A quick search found a do-it-yourself kit for $20. If my insurance offers a discount for it, I'll do it.

Re: the locking nuts - I think I answered my own question, I just saw them on sale for $104 on chevypartsplus. If the dealer's using the genuine part, well okay then.

Nice, bottom line it's your ride so get it the way you want.

Although the dealer tags are easily removable yourself, as I just got my dealer to remove them.

Vin bit, no need to get fleeced. Dealerships make a lot fo their profit selling these 'goodies'.

Undercoating/rust proofing is a personal choice. I opted for it as they guarantee it for I believe as long as you own your vehicle. As for the paint protection / seat protection I wouldn't bother as it really looks like you can do it yourself or get a detail shop to do these things for way cheaper.

They'll also offer extended warranty, which is pure profit right not for them so they'll really try to push it. After a couple refusals they offered to throw in all of the above for an extra $1400 so I said why not. It is a first year production for a new model so no big w00p!

Finally carefully inspect the area in where your rear spoiler in on your trunk. There is a very well known issue of paint chips, easy enough search will give you all the info you'll want and then some on it and a few more things like fuse pull.

That's all I can think of for now and g'luck!!!

Here is what I got my dealer to agree to:
TOUCH UP PAINT (SINCE THEY ARE PAINTING 2 ITEMS)
DO NOT INSTALL FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET
DO NOT APPLY DEALER STICKER / BADGE
DO NOT DRIVE IT OTHER THAN REQUIRED FOR PDI
NO CUSTOMERS SITTING IN IT.
FILL CAR WITH ONLY 93 OCTANE GASOLINE
LEAVE ALL “WRAPPING” IN PLACE INSIDE AND OUT / DO NOT WASH
REMOVE WINDOW STICKER GENTLY / DO NOT FOLD. SAVE IN TRUNK.
INCLUDE 2011 CAMARO BROUCHURE IN TRUNK.

Buy a large puzzle. It will give you something to do while you wait.
