Im running the ATAK with Doug Thorley shorties and love it.
No codes, no problems, no tune for now.

No problems with codes ... I would suggest the Doug Thorley shorties, they look awesome and there is a big time difference in low end torque ...

Was there much improvement in the sound in your opinion? I was thinknig about LT headers, but Shorties sound like a better option for me

If LT's are an option, they will ALWAYS be a better. They actually make a noticeable amount of HP. Shorties are debateable on power increases. As long as you know that with LT's, you'll need a tune and need to delete or replace the cats.

Skip the shorties and go long if you can. Do it right the first time.

For some reason, I hear that alot. LOL
You know, for some people, the Shorties and mid pipes sometimes work out well for them. Or even the Shorties with OEM Cats. And that's cool man. Still better than nothing. But sometimes there is the need for that power increase and they come callin' for LT's!! Ivan @ Southwest Speed |
