Blackout rear kit and badge

The piece of vinyl that you can buy that's black and goes below the spoiler... Do u think if you put that on the car you can just take the badge and leave it off no problems? Just wondering
Thanks

If the blackout in this picture is what you are talking about, then yes you can take off the emblem without a problem. Since you have a 2011, there are no holes in the trunk under the emblem.

since you have a 2011 you should be able to do it with no problems. People like me who have the 2010's can't do it because than we'd be left with 2 holes in the trunk.

Magnetic black insert

I got this fill in panel on Ebay about a year ago
I think it was about 20 or 30 bucks,
it is cut to fit around the bowtie
it shrunk a little on the ends but not too noticable
I don't know if it is still available or not.

Me either. My car's whole tail panel is blacked out and the vinyl covered the holes just fine. Then I put an "old-school" SS emblem over the top of that and you can't see even the vaguest outline of the holes.

if you want to remove that emblem you can use strong fishing line or string, I recommend some gloves as well. you run the string behind the emblem till you basically cut through the 3m double sides stick tape. once removed you have the fun of getting the remaining tape off which might take you 30 minutes, then finish it off with goof off and then wax. i did mine but honestly wouldnt offer to do one for anyone else.

Just do like I did and have them cut around it. It looks good and right now I'm just waiting on some vinyl cut-outs for the bowties.
