Order Event Timing?

I ordered a new 2LT in Nov'10. I've scanned threw a number of owners & the timing of their 3400 event to 3800 event was from 5 days to 1 month. I'm at 5 weeks now sitting on event 3400 in my build history. Starting to feel anxious.
Please, Camaro5 owners, please calm me down and tell me it's okay!

11/06/2010 - (1100) Order Placed at Dealership Order passed GM edit tables but dealers has not received allocation to place order
11/06/2010 - (1102) Order Entered via Web
11/10/2010 - (2000) Order Accepted by GM Dealer used allocation to place order into production
11/10/2010 - (2500) Order Preferenced Order pulled to the production system
11/10/2010 - (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.
11/13/2010 - (3100) Order available to sequence.
11/13/2010 - (3300) Order Scheduled for Production Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle
11/20/2010 - (3400) Order Broadcast (Internal Plant Paperwork Order Produced) Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together

Seriously, is it taking longer to build Camaro's these days???

No, it used to take a lot longer. Mine was at 1100 for three months. It took one week to go from 3400 to 3800. Right now the weather is the determining factor. So...calm down, take a deep breath, and have a drink. It will be here before you know it. The wait will be worth it. It was for me.

3 months at 1100?!!! Was your dealer black balled from GM or something? I understand the dealer allocation thing... somewhat. Bigger dealers get their allocation pulled, or allotted by GM, more frequently, I understand. Was your dealer a smaller dealer or smaller volume dealer?. 1 week from 3400 to 3800, damn skippy!!
I noticed your date was last year in Nov'09. Guess GM was ramping the production. Still, 5 weeks & counting on event 3400... Is Oshawa, ON still in business? on the map? <groan>

Weather determining factor... cars are still built indoors, right? Does production scale back in winter months versus summer months? really?

I know, I know, have another drink. I REALLY was hoping Santa was bringing me something good cuz i was a REALLY good boy this year.

I also have one of those GM preferred owners (my Pontiac) coupons for $1.5K good until 3Jan11. I need a VIN # to qualify for rebate by 3Jan11.

I'm feeling anxious again. BAR WENCH, another grog!!

I ordered my car when the allocations were skimpy for all dealers. Good Chevrolet is a large dealer but, there were also others ahead of me and they were the only ones in this area that would even talk about GM employee pricing. All the other dealers I contacted turned their nose up at it. I wanted to have a brthday present for myself. Thinking if I ordered in May it would be here by the end of August. Nope.........But, my car was built over my Birthday. The order broadcasted on 8/24 and completed/shipped on 8/31. My Birthday is 8/30, which was a Sunday last year. Some birthday present huh?
