I posted a couple times last week about blacking out the rear panel and so forth. Ended up removing the bowtie myself, cleaning it up and taking it to a sign shop (Fast Signs, Woburn, MA) to have the rear panel blacked out in Matte Black. I ordered the lettering in Rally Yellow from Emblem Pros....great service here, prompt shipping, and very happy with the product. I used 1-inch masking tape....put one strip down the middle, and then measured the letters and marked the tape to make sure they were in the middle down to the millimeter...and then used more vertical strips of the tape to space them one inch a part across. There were holes from the bowtie removal, but between the vinyl and the letters- you'd never notice any difference if you weren't looking for it. Came out awesome I think!

Thanks! It looks way better in person too, because the letters are actually emblems so they "pop"...where the photos they look sticker-esque.

What part of Mass are you from? North Shore area here...

Yes! I think you were one of the guys who pointed me in the right direction in my first post about it. I think it came out great. I made a seperate post so future searchers would find what they needed- but I did the front bowtie at the same time with a custom black/yellow one. The car looks much better without those big honkin' gold bowties.

Next up is tinted tails!
