somebody took my tires!!

My service guys did.........lol. my car is getting new brakes and another set of sneakers after 30,000 miles. Almost 2 years to the day since I picked her up....ain't cheap though. Just wondering how many miles you can get on the original tires.

I hear anywhere from 17k-25k depending on how you drive it.

I got 23,000 out of the first set and only about 3000 out of the second set of rear bc of this:



:( new rears on tomorrow. $650 I didnt want to spend.

Any idea what caused this? You need a pretty good shot to the sidewall to open it up like this.

No clue... still holds air fine and tire place said should be fine BUT I autocross/road course race the car... "should" is not good enough for me!

My car is about to turn 29,000 and the stock tires while looking fairly worn, still have probably another 3000 left in them...the car has only ever done 1 real burnout...lots of aggressive cornering and sliding sideways though.

30K on the stock tires is pretty damn good....I might have been able to give that a challenge until recently...I just can't seem to stop doing burnouts!! Is there a support group out there for people with this problem?
