First of all, I'm quite aware of most peoples misgivings with the Loudmouth 1...but it is what I went with and I've been happy with it thus far. I was thinking about doing a resonator delete with shorty headers, because I've seen vids of the MRT V1 with this setup and it sounds great. My question is though, given the pitch of my exhaust and all, will it have a similar effect or will it sound awful? Has anyone tried this?

You may want to try just adding the headers first before doing the resonator delete, as they will add volume and more growl to you already mostly open exhaust. I'd if you like what you currently have, you will really like it with the shorty headers added on. (they generally add a slightly lower tone and more burble or growl as I put it)
At that point, if you still feel like you need more "loud", then do away with the resonators.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking about going with first. I just really don't want to sound like a Honda -_-
