Yes... It would be the reinstallation that would be the tough part.

The a pillar, c pillar an quarter panel are all one welded in piece.

Do you mean to say the panel is welded to the frame of the car?

Well, the car doest have a "frame" it's more a structural skeleton and yes, it's all welded and seam sealed then painted as one piece... Open the trunk, you can see wher the quarter and trunk piece are connected. Also under the drip strip in the roof.

Let me look for a pic. I've been to the assembly plant. Very impressive to see.

I don't have one on my phone... Sorry. I have pics or the whole assembled body shell prior to paint but all welded up.

Damn.

I have three dents to take care of. One over the door window, one in the gill area near the rear tire, and one just above the rear tire, all in that one huge panel.

Painless dent repair works AWESOME!!! Give them a shot, unless we're talk serious dents... You can not just remove the panel and replace it easily or try to pop them out like you could on say, the fender.

I was going to try fixing the latter two if I could get to them by removing the wheel and the plastic wheel well.

The one over the door window is going to need paint though, someone threw a rock so the dent is a small but sharp one, with scratches.

Sigh.....

I never caught that little bugger. Karma will get him though...

BTW, is it the same for the roof panel? Is it also welded in place?
