Engine stalling, automatic transmission

Had this happen twice now, on my 2011 2LS with 9k miles.

I was driving and stopped for a red light, light turns green, hit the gas nothing. Notice the engine isn't running, so I have to put it back into Park and restart the engine.

Its happened once before where I was driving on a uphill dead end street, went to reverse down the street, was still in Drive and let go of the brakes and let it roll back down the hill and then my brake pedal was hard to push down and I notice the engine is no longer running. Had to put in park and restart the engine.

Anyone had this happen to them before?

sene, I'm sorry to hear you're having these issues. In this situation I would have to suggest that you have your vehicle checked by your dealer. I hope it is something simple and is a quick fix for you.

I havent had my car stall on me but its been running like shit lately. It starts up really rough and has a bad hesistation when giving it gas. Does your car ever high rev between shifts like the tranny is slipping?

I doubt I could replicate it for the dealer, its only happened twice.

Its really great to see Chevy being so in tune with what their customers are saying
