I got a return call from my dealer today. I asked him what priority I was in their system and he told me that out of 10 orders, 3 got pulled for production. Also that my order was in priority 1 status as well as 2 others. Is this possible? Does this mean my order will be pulled for production with the other two priority ones? Thanks in advance!!

I am priority 1 also... not sure what it really means.... I am still waiting....

Hey anything is possible when you talk to a dealer.
He'll tell you anything you want to hear and then deny ever saying it.
I once had a Renault dealer tell me that the Dauphine would be the next Volkswagen.
Boy was he wrong, I think!?!?

I am suppossedly priority #1. I'm #2 of his orders and #1 SS. He already has 9 SS vin #'s and none of them is mine. Some are going to other dealers of the same owner for premium pricing, one on Ebay but they just can't understand why mine wasn't built yet or when it will be. I'm still at 1100 since my October order. Go figure.

thats BS dude, I just don't understand how there are 3 priority #1's. its not like i pressured him to spirt out a answer. He just read his screen and told me what he saw.

Yes, multiple cars can be at the same priority level. It just means that if they don't manually submit any orders, the ordering system will automatically pull one that is not constrained when they get allocation from the lowest (well highest priority but lowest number) priority.

ok, so can you try and answer my question..... If there are 3 of us with priority one status,
does that mean it will get pulled? or is it better to be higher up? Im confused

Let's say the dealer has an allocation of one that week. None of the cars have a constrained option. All cars are at a priority of one. If the dealer does not touch the system, it will automatically pull one of the cars. However the dealer can go in the system sometime Thursday through Saturday and push an order along. They could put a stock order in and submit it instead of the customer orders if they want. I believe that if the dealer does not do this, the order system will automagically pull the order submitted first but don't quote me on that part.

got it, so i should get on the horn with the dealer and start pushing for my order to be pushed along.... I wonder when I will get my car. Its kind of funny, I was told between 50-75 days. puts me in early to mid june. what do you think?

All sold orders are automatically generated as a "1" priority. If they don't change the priority, it gets pulled by order date (first one ordered gets in first). Usually, the dealer would change the priority to his own list of numbers (1,2,3,etc.).
