AAC colorshift Fog light problem

Hi, i began installing my colorshift lights, and i started with the fog lights, the problem is, the lights dont fit in the fog lights like on the video.

I can get both of them almost in.

I can use the dremmel to grind the edges of the fog light housing down a little bit so maybe theyll fit in, but i can tell its going to be snug.

BUT, if i do that, when i place the fog light lens back over it, will the seam of the lens block the halo too much if any? Should i try to exchange them?

Did anyone else have problems fitting the ring inside the housing?

I did not install mine, but saw them yesterday on my car. I had Bevil Automotive in Fort Worth do the install. He is a great guy and a Certified AAC installer. Give him a call this am they should be open. He is very friendly. Tell him Gary sent you maybe he could give you some advice or tell you what to do.

The halos don't fit exactly. I siliconed mine into place.

A friction fit? It wouldn't fit at all, there is no give in the ring or the housing .... So there was no way to push it in there without breaking one of them

I just used a dremmel to grind it down until it fit, it's in there tight now.... I'll see what it looks
Like when I finish
