Adam's Leather and Interior conditioner

Okay, I have been doing some research and after looking and looking, I think I'm gonna try the Adam's Leather and Interior Conditioner. I don't have leather in my car, besides the steering wheel, but my girlfriend's dad has leather in his buick. I just have a few questions.

Does it work with 1960s and 70s original vinyl seats that were in Camaros and Mustangs?

Does it work on uncoated leather? I know it is advertised for coated leather, but what about uncoated?

What is the durability of it?

Does it have a strong scent?

Thanks for your replies. I know Dylan can chime in here.

1) yes

2) what do you have that's uncoated leather? If it's just bare leather - like no treatment at all, I believe (and I could be totally way off base here) you're supposed to use animal fat. But take that with a grain of salt, like multiple grains of salt.

3) Very good. I try to do it once a month just to keep the shine up

4) new car smell? I can't really say it has a scent per say besides that.

Thanks Stieger. I'm glad it doesn't have a strong scent. Some of the people that I detail for are sensitive to scents.

All I can do is vouche for the product. I absolutely love the Cleaner and Conditioner by Adams. The conditioner smells awesome, and the cleaner works magic on the leather. I had some dye from my jeans on my orange leather, and it came right off with the cleaner.! So I highly recommend this stuff!

Yes... so long as its not a sueded or combed leather surface (which is really rare to see on anything other than high end customer aftermarket seats)

I typically do a treatment once a month out of habit, haven't really ever needed it more frequently than that.

Mild immediately after application and very subtle shortly after.

WTF, Keith are you sure.

Have you tried LTT? I would give Judy a ring over there she can get you setup really good.

Thanks for the reply! I just wanted to make sure it is okay on uncoated.

I'm searching for what to use...
I've read reviews on Lexol...the reviews were mixed. I've read reviews on MacGuires...mixed reviews with some saying it made the leather feel like cheap vinyl.

Someone told me that Lemon Pledge is good/safe to use.

Pledge contains silicon -
"Pledge® is recommended for sealed surfaces only."
http://www.scjohnson.com/en/products...-Have-Silicone

If you don't find the smell objectionable...
Ballistol diluted with water (emulsified) goes on easy (spray) and absorbs into the leather - the water will evaporate and leave the oil behind. It has been in use for over 100 years.

"LEATHER - Use on boots, shoes, gloves, holsters, slings, & saddles. Protects leather against water. Keeps leather soft & pliable, will darken lighter colors. Do not use on suede."
