Dealer has my Camaro, delivery Thursday at Noon

I know that this thread is useless without pics, but I don't have one, at least not yet, but I just found out that my dealer has my new car. They are going to install the new splashguards for me. I have already got my Insurance company in line with the dealer to have my slip there for delivery, which will be Thursday at noon.

I have read a lot about others experiences tracking their orders, and that suspense you guys went thru looked gutwrenching at times. I ordered the car on Monday, February 27th, and in 3 weeks plus a day, it is physically at their lot. I didn't ask for my order number or TPW and didn't even call the dealer at all during this time because I knew I would drive myself nuts. I am not saying that to sound condescending, so please no offense. I just know how I get and that I have never been good at delayed gratification, and now that I know that she exists, well, you all know how that feels!

I can't wait, and I will post pics as soon as I can. In case anyone is wondering I got the 2012 2LS in yellow. The rally stripes are coming with the car uninstalled as they don't have a bodyshop at the GM store where I got it, so my body guy is going to slap those puppies on for me in the next week or so. Doing thedance for a few days, and trying to contain myself so I can surprise my friends and family with it in my possession....Cheers, and thanks for sharing everything you all know about this car, because I am relatively green with Camaros....

Tell them not to wash it. Also, unless you tell them not to, they will put thier dealer sticker on your trunk....and if a front plate is required is your province, they will drill holes in your bumper to mount a plate bracket. I'd tell them not do to that either.

Congrats! I'd be excited as hell. I still have a wait for mine. I'm at three weeks today, hopefully mine is as fast as yours cause the weather is getting nice here and I'm not the patient sort haha

Car wash is out, no stickers anymore just the back plate frame to advertise for the dealer. And yes we are required to have front plates and I am not going to get too excited about that. It sucks to have holes drilled, but I'd rather have the holes than a ticket. Thanks for the tips tho

The only mods are the splashguards and the rally stripes. I really wanted to go for the BumbleBee look, and this one will probably be known as BumbleBee JR haha

I live about 3 hours away from the plant that builds these cars, which might explain why it came so quickly, I don't know what the answer is there, but I'll post the actual date she was built when I know. Hopefully yours comes tomorrow, but I kept myself distracted reorganizin my garage and painting the garage doors and trim.

I was doing pretty good until today, when I found out it arrived, and now I am so wired and hyped up on goofballs, that I can't calm down. I better soon, cause my shift starts at 5am, and I am being tested on operating a BT lifter....I'd rather operate a brand new Camaro now.....O well

to be continued....or pics to follow.....

Gotta Pic!!!

Picked her up today, and wow, my jaw dropped when I saw her for the first time. She had about 14km on her when we got her. I am actually speechless....except for my husband took her to work tonight and I am going thru some severe withdrawal.....but she is actually more stunning in real life than any picture could ever show....I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

Rally stripes are in hand, but haven't booked to have them put on yet...soon tho....thanks everyone

bubsy73, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Very nice, congrats and welcome. One thing, consider having the stripes painted on, so much better in the end. Either way you have an amazing machine, enjoy it.
