I'm still waiting to order my 2013 2LS from Viva in El Paso

I'm still waiting to order my 2013 2LS from Viva in El Paso. My salesman there will call me as soon as he can order this car. He said he's waiting on pricing, or something like that. I told him to call me when he's ready to order the car.

GearheadSS posted pricing on 2013 cameros, I "THINK" he got from GM Global Connect. I don't know why that thread he posted this info in, is now closed. I'm HOPING my salesman gives me a price of $24,545 on my new car, when I meet with him to order it. That's the price GearheadsSS posted. If he gives a higher price, I guess I'll have to do more homework on this.I appreciate GearheadSS posting this pricing info.

Pricing is available.

2LS MSRP with no options including destination charge is $25,445. GM Preferred price is $24,904.07.

My gosh, I called my salesman today, 7/17 to see if he was ready to order my car, and he said they had already ordered it. He forgot I wanted the compact spare tire, so hopefully they can add that to the order. I think he can. I was surprised the dealership ordered my car, when I hadn't ordered it. Hopefully everything will turn out okay. I think it will.

They probably ordered it 7 or 8 days ago, so hopefully they can modify my order.

Something doesn't sound right here. This isn't the way you order a car. You also didn't mention a deposit.

It can be changed. Did you put a deposit? Does not seem right, but could be.

Yeah, I know, it seemed a little strange to me. My salesman just forgot I wanted the compact spare tire. I'm sure after I talked to him, he went to somebody and told them, "Hey, we need to change his order, and order a spare tire."

My order is pretty simple. Anyone here could order this car for me. Here's my order...

I want a black 2013 2LS, with black interior. I want only one option. A compact spare tire. That's it. That's my order. Not real complicated.

He didn't ask for a deposit, because he knows I want the car. If I back out, they will just sell the car. I've told him if it doesn't have a spare tire, I want to order the same car, with a spare tire. Hopefully they can change the order. And no, I don't think he has bad intentions with this. He just forgot to order the tire. It was an honest mistake. I just hope they can fix it.

You should be able to track this. Ask the salesperson to give you the workbench order number. You can track this on the GMConnects.com website. Also, Becky (on this website) can help you track your order if you give her the workbench order number.

Thanks for this suggestion. I called my salesman today, 7/18, and he said they successfully changed the order. He said he would call me, and give me the workbench order number. He's going to go look it up, then he'll call me.
