Oil Breather Cap with CAI

Sorry that this is another, "did I do it right", thread.

I just want to make sure I capped off the right ports with the cap. Here are pics with arrows showing what I capped off.

LS3 M6

TIA

Don't worry. If Jason and I are both wrong it will be over fast. There won't be much pain.

My cap on the CAI is cracking. Where can I get another one? What size is it? Mine has been on over a year.

You could put a small piece of hose on with a plug in it which is probably what I will do next week.

What is the benefit of this setup over the breather hose.

The fresh air line is a point of oil ingestion when at WOT when there is no intake manifold vacuum present and the crankcase pressure back-flows into the intake tube bringing oil with it. Not a huge amount, maybe a fraction the amount of the dirty side.

Havent checked since the T/B install, but yes the clean side tube only let in a small amount. If you swipe your finger on a inside part of the manifold only a slight smear will be on your finger, more dry then wet.
