Lets see if the Performance aftermarket sees the results and the mix of V8 to V6 cars, we need more V6 performance......

Not only that, but we need competitive prices. Doesn't help someone bring a product to market it if its twice as expensive as other comparable cars.

Why do people need to pay 900+ dollars for a V6 clutch when you can pay 300 for a clutch for a V8.....

I voted,

But i also feel that it should be general knowledge that there will be more V6s out there. Its just that most V6 owners are less likely to spend as much money as V8 owners to mod their cars, and thus is why you see the vast V8 mods and not as much for the V6. The other reason is that the DI V6 engine has been on the market less time, and so that also means less mods available.

I think with these higher performing V6 engines, the V6 mod market should be growing b/c the potential of these cars are great....anyone see the modded N/A V6 Mustang with justbolt ons, drive shaft, and tires get into the 12s?? Thats why I think the market will grow.

Now with the possibility of V6 engines not making their way into the next gen engines, that could leave us dead in the water :(

The Direct Injection V6 is here to stay for a while, even the V8's will become direct injection soon.
