I just passed by today and checked to see if the rail car shipment they were expecting tonight had arrived already. To my surprise it was there, there were approximately 30-35 Camaros on the lot waiting to be shipped out tomorrow. I took some pictures and will post them up shortly. We mainly went out there to see if my fiancee's car was there and there was one CGM 2SS/RS out there on the lot and we are pretty positive that it is hers, however when we went up to the guard trailer no one would go out there and verify the vin number for us. We are going to pass by again tonight before we head home from Baton Rouge to see if we can see them loading the cars on trucks. They had about 10 trailers that were empty so hopefully those are to start getting these cars out to the dealers in the area.

Was supposed to be at Dealer on June 1st. Arrived at Port Allen on Thursday. Do you know how hard it is knowing that your car is 40 miles away, yet you can't get it? I hate being on someone else's schedule.

All the cars that were there Thursday already shipped out on trucks, the ones we saw came in either late last night or early this morning.

I'm pretty sure that's why they are down here. Every car that I have tracked through this whole process that was for someone in Louisiana, has arrived at this rail yard before going to the dealer.

Hope that Camaro is headed to Florida! I ordered the same, CGM, 2SS,RS. It should have already been delivered by now. Hopefully- all of us will be driving the dream really soon. I saw 3 new Camaros at the dealership last week- and they were just awesome. Still wrapped in plastic, so I had to imagine them without the wrap. I sat in the Grey/Black leather- as this is what I ordered! Bring it on please.....

Does anyone near Port Allen? I'm gonna go back tonight and see if I can get someone to check the VIN numbers of the cars out there. Does anyone know anyone that works at the Union Pacific yard in Port Allen? Also if anyone wants me to check and see if there car is there send me your VIN# plus the color and what package you have so I can get someone to check for yours also while I'm out there. There are a lot of blacks, one Aqua Blue Metallic, 2 or 3 IOM, 2 RJT, a few Yellow and Silvers. I'll be leaving here around 7:30.
