Which Transmission Do I Have?
I want to start off by saying I just bought my first Camaro (2013 LS) and I'm loving it so far, well, for the most part. It has the notchy/grinding tranny issues that I've read so much about on here. I'm probably going to be changing out the fluid as soon as I get a chance (currently at ~700mi).
My question is, how do I find out (or can someone tell me) which transmission is in my car? I have the 2013 LS V6 Manual. The sticker that was in the window from the lot says "Transmission: Japan". Does that mean I have the AY6? I asked my dealer and they told me it was the Tremec, but couldn't tell me a specific model, so I'm questioning them. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere in the forums. Thanks for any info!

U have a manual transmission. U said it yourself in your post above.
