Camaros got longer?
I'm sitting t the dealership getting the dreaded oil leak diagnosed and one of the customer reps was admiring my car.....he proceeded to tell me that newer Camaros like the 2013 vert sitting outside are longer than mine......should I worry about the level of idiocy here or is this true?

Well, spec it out. Check out your owners manual, length should be in there. Now go to the Chevy website, compare the two. Now which one is longer? Thought so. Ok, so I looked it up. Go to Edmunds' they have your original dimensions. The 2011 1LT coupe compares with the 2013 1LT 2LT and 2SS at 190.4 US in. So they are the same. The dealer was probably trying to get a rise out of you. Just be happy with the Camaro you got, I am, I think mine is the best one on the road! I think the 2013 came out with a V6 with a whopping 323hp, so what? If I ever get another one, I'll get the V6 again, and a 2LS hopefully.

And any nameless reps and henchmen at your dealer are idiots. F***, I'll even throw the ZL1 in there if that will cover the bases. ZL1 - length 190.4 inchesOnly thing I don't have is the 2014 dims. Anybody got those?

There would be no reason to make it longer. You'd just be adding weight the Camaro really doesn't need.
