Borla S-type Axleback Exhaust

Only 500 miles on the exhaust. I have a convertible and did not notice that the convertible is not a true dual exhaust and purchased full cat-back system. This exhaust looks and sounds great and is a simple installation.
$425 plus shipping.

I think he's referring to the "noise attenuator valves" that convertible SS's with automatic trans have. Stick shift cars don't have them.

Although both cars do have dual exhaust, these valves sit far enough back that you have to go full catback to do away with them.

You can debate about the Dual exhaust if you like. The Automatic L99 Convertible has a H pipe configuration in the center resonator as described in several forum posts. If you want to call that a DUAL exhaust that's OK or OKAY. With the butterfly valves in the rear section of the exhaust, they are as restrictive as you can get. For a Convertible I personally would not use the Stock exhaust (From the Stock Manifolds Or you can call them Headers if you like). Any way the Borla S-type axle back Is a great option for any Camaro other then a Convertible Automatic.

One last item as not to confuse buyers. This is for a Axleback S-type and not Catback.
