Resonator delete?

I've read thru many threads and quite a few have done muffler deletes to improve sound. I've already invested in the Borla axleback exhaust, so I'm wondering if I can change the tone with removing the L99 factory resonator and go with either H, X, or straight pipe. any pros/cons do doing these?

thanks,

It will change the sound....not dramatically, but yes. No real down side to H or X pipe.

You'll have to tune the AFM out otherwise it'll sound like a Honda on the freeway.

Also make sure you do some sort of crossover. An X or H pipe will work great. I have a custom X pipe, no resonators, rear cat delete, and muffler delete. It's loud and I love it

Put in high-flow cats before messing with resonators. Cats mellow the sound on these cars the WORST.

My opinion to really wake it up would be to get a set of Long-Tube headers.
