Should I trade my 1LE for a ZL1...
So I was just searching for used ZL1's in my area for fun and stumbled across a 2013 with 34XX miles. I have a '13 1LE that just ticked 5k miles...here's the kicker...the ZL1 is $46,000 which if I'm not mistaken is a pretty damn good price...only problem is it's black...not a huge fan of black cars...had a 2009 G8 GT that was black and needless to say I had to wash it every other day. So I just wanted some opinions on whether or not I should consider it! Thanks I'm advance everyone!

It looks more like you got the Z fever , if it keep's on coming , you have no other choice ,but get it
The issue with black color can be fixed , just wash the car every other day , including Sundays Hey , if it is keeping you from sleeping , go and get it , just remember yourself that it has about 30K miles more than yours Only you can make that trade with yourself |

I would not get it purely because it is black. I have sworn off black cars for the rest of my life. Way to much work.

Only you can answer it.
My main question would be do you have to take on extra debt to make this happen or are you cash on the 1LE and cash on the difference of the two. Don't answer, none of my business, just something to think about. But the ZL1 is awesome, and yes a black ZL1 is a tough nut to keep looking good, I can state that as a fact. I certainly don't think the mileage on the ZL1 is at all an issue. I wanted one brand new just because, but I've always thought that there will be some low mileage, well taken care of ZL1's for a while for someone who wants one. So by that same token if you decide you have to have the ZL1 but don't want to deal with black, I nearly guarantee another one will pop up with about the same mileage or less, for about the same price or less, and in a color you feel is easier to care for.

I think its worth it. You can get many colors of wrap to pick a color you like better, then peel it when ready to sell to reveal the pristine black underneath.

I haven't talked to the dealership at all yet having just seen the car online tonight but I'm confident I could keep the payment the same as I currently have it and probably start the loan over for the same number of years, I'm about 6 months into my current loan so figure same payment extended 6 more months
