About to be a new owner!
Hey Camaro5.com!
I'm coming over from the Mopar side of things where my 2011 Charger:  Which I spent many a-hour under the hood putting on a supercharger (and a bunch of others):  Got it's front end re-arranged, when a lady pulled out in front of me at an intersection:  Awesome, eh? I had lovingly dubbed it my Camaro Killer, as with 500+hp and AWD, I enjoyed munching stock camaros, stock mustangs, SRT-8 challengers. Well, doing my due diligence, I went over to the Ford dealership, test drove a Mustang. To the Dodge dealership, see if the 2014s where much different than my 2011. Even to the Honda dealership to appease a Honda-loving friend. And then to the Chevy dealership. And when I saw the redesigned 2014 Camaros, I knew I was in trouble. I test drove a red 1ss auto, and it completely blew the Mustang out of the water, both in power and even more so in interior styling and features. (Seriously, the guys doing the Mustang's interior are living in the past. Even the new Taurus SHO wasn't much to look at inside - Impala kills that all day.) So, prying myself away from the dealership, I went home and started doing internet research, and spent a lot of time on Chevy's build-a-Camaro tool. What really sold me is seeing the new redesigned taillights in LED (RS package), and the color heads-up-display and DIC. So, later today, I'm picking up, from dealer inventory, a blue ray metallic 2ss with rs package, dual mode sport exhaust, sunroof, and navigation. Yep. Killed the Camaro Killer just to get a Camaro. I'm excited.

Congratulations, and welcome. I looked at Mustangs and Challengers when I bought my Camaro SS in 2010, but at the time, it wasn't even close. Camaro SS was the most bang for the buck by far, and it was still very new, so there weren't many on the road. I liked all of the performance cars I looked at, but have no regrets for getting my Camaro. 75,000 miles later, and I still smile every time I drive it.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Sorry to hear about the untimely demise of your Charger. I hope no one was hurt. Welcome to the Camaro family and Camaro5!  I'm sure your devising plans on what to do to your new Camaro once you take delivery, Congrats!
