Unhappy Loud sounds when turning steering wheel

Any opinions on this, it's only when I turn the steering wheel almost fully. Haven't heard it during shArp turns or moving forward. I can't tell where the sound is coming from. Thanks.

Sounds like something is binding up, upper or lower ball joint? I'd get it checked out before something breaks, if you have a set of Rhino ramps you may be able to figure where the problem is. Keep us informed and good luck.

That's what I was thinking but the sound is coming from the center front portion of the vehicle not near the wheels. Could it be the steering rack?

Would I be covered under warranty since the car is tuned? Even though the tune is not a direct cause of this?

Edit: I just realized this portion of the warranty was up a long while back.

So I lifted the car and had suspension unloaded and no sound I rocked the tires by hand left and right and no wound. It only does it when the suspension is loaded and steering wheel is turned.

Front struts have bearings... Everything that turns has bearings. And the struts turn when you turn the wheel.

Exclamation

Still haven't figured it out but I think that might be the area it's coming from.

I could also check the sway bar endlinks to make sure they are snug and not "jumping" at the upper and lower attachment points when turning wheel;may explain the difference when loaded and not,my 2 cents, good luck
