Factory Torque Specifications

I'm getting ready to install some Doug Thorley shorty headers and Magnaflow exhaust. The installation instructions call out to torque the headers, header collectors and cat pipes to factory specs which I do not have. Can anyone help me out here? I know several of you have already done this.

Thanks,

Speedy One

The headers to the block are 18 ftlbs, but I did 20 as Im too cheap to buy another torque wrench. The directions for the dynotech said 20 was fine. As for the collectors, I did them good&tight. No problems here.

what rodimus said.

and dont forget to go back and recheck the torque on the header bolts (at least) after a week or so.

Make sure to chase the threads as well, this will help reduce the amount of re-torque required later. I've hot-cold cycled mine Doug Thorley's at least 10 times and they have never loosened any. Combine them with a Roto-Fab CAI and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
