Nitto tires for 2010SS
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to replace my P zeros factory tires with new nitto tired. I'm thinking Nitto invo at the fronts and NT05 on the rears. I'm not really a race track guy, more like a daily user. Any thoughts.advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ! |

NT05 will wear fairly quickly on the road. IMO your better off with Invos all around.

Thanks for your input guys. That's what I thought about the NT05 ones, I think they can be ruled out!...would you ellaborate more on the Greasy Invo's, weather conditions, street or track etc...
Thanks |

I have a 2011 SS when I replaced my pzeros a couple months ago I went with ZL1 repro wheels to put more meet on the back. I have Nitto Motivos 315 in the back and 275 in the front. These tires grip a lot better than the pzeros wet or dry but the ride isn't quiet as good.

I live in Houston (no true cold weather to speak of) and love my invos.
They handle great in the rain, and are pretty damn good in dry weather. When it's real cold (real cold here is mid-high 20's) they lose a bit of grip, but tend to warm up nicely as you get down the road. I give a +1, and don't think I've experienced any greasy feeling to them. Only time I've ever had traction issues is when it's cold and/or wet, or a really hard hit in 1st on slippery surface. Even then, when they break loose, it's pretty predictable, and easy to control |

I have the Nitro Invos with 275 up front and 315 in the rear and I love them. 1000x better than the stock P Zeros. The P Zeros where down right dangerous at times. I will continue to buy the Nittos. Very happy.

Im running 275 up front on a 9" wheel and 315s on back on a 10" wheel should have 10.5 wide wheel for the 315 so they say. But invoes run narrow so they say .
Never been to the track with them so I don't really know if the are better or not?

Sorry for the delay on getting back to you.
Track conditions, the INVO's just don't hold up. They fall short a lot in the corners. And as for the street, they aren't bad. But really how hard does one push a tire on the street.
