An Old Camaro enemy Returns

The BOSS mustang has reportedly made its way back into the picture just in time to challenge the Dodge Challenger, and the Chevy Camaro.

The BOSS Mustang is made up of the GT500 platform and suspension, with a new retuned 5.4 Liter 390 bhp engine. The car will be "stripped" off excess weight and "junk" which im sure a monkey could point out in any modern GT which will leave the car weighting in at less than the current Mustang V6. So look for this car to show up in the low 3,300's high 3,200's. Think Corvette.

The pony car wont have the hp as the challenger or upper level Camaro's, but it will make up for it with the lighter weight. This will be the challenge that i know i will personally look for on the road as a true test, over the challenger any day.

060calculator.com predicts the car will run a 4.147 0-60 time. ouch.

this mustang was made by GAS a company in southern CA i read about it in an article its just modded by the shop

no boss mustang is coming out as far as i know of

wow.... am i the only one who laughs when ford comes out with their "NEW, BIG, BAD@$$, SUPERCHARGED, SPECIAL PURPOSE BUILT, BLAH, BLAH BLAH, WHATEVER CRAP THEY CAN THINK OF TO CALL IT AND CHARGE YOU MORE, mustang. but yet, they still are under the 400 hp mark...even with forced induction. wtf?!?!?! our v-6 is going to be a competitor for that POS. i mean come on ford. i cant wait till the camaro comes out so i can start converting ford people over to camaros when they see the power vs price.


i was looking around for comparisons for the Camaro vs Mustang and i came accross Car and Drivers actual tests for each generation, plus specialty models and whatnot.

the camaro beat the mustang in hp in all but 2 of them, (one they had a v-8 mustang vs a v-6 camaro, so its not completely fair), and beat the mustang overall 9 times out of 13 attempts. the only mustangs that won were the fox body ones vs the IROC-Z of the time (which was heavy as hell compared to the mustang), and one of the 2nd gen ones.

i just think its hilarious that ford retards...i mean owners, are willing to pay all this extra money for the crap that they recieve as a final product.
