Just installed front license plate bracket, no holes in bumper.
Just got a plate holder from
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...Q5fAccessories and took 10 minutes to install including time to document with pictures. $89 with free shipping. It would probably take 5 minutes or less to remove with a power screw driver. I should mention that this works for SS with ground effects installed. I am waiting for my replacement chin right now.

It doesn't fold but it removes quickly. I got it because it was one of the few that were designed for installation on an SS with GFX. Unfortunately, I lost my chin spoiler before the plate holder got here.
