Start-up Trouble / Double Rev

Hey, all

A few weeks ago, I noticed that when starting my car completely cold, such as having sat overnight, the car seems to hesitate for a couple seconds before the car goes into its normal start-up idle. I've had the car for several months, but just noticed it recently. I don't know whether I'm being paranoid, or there is a problem. Because it only happens when the engine is completely cold, I'm reluctant to try to explain it to the dealer.

I wasn't able to find any other posts on the forum that exactly mimic my problem. The car hasn't failed to start or died after starting like many others seem to have experienced, nor has it thrown a CEL. I uploaded video to YouTube of the problem.

EDIT: I forgot to describe it in detail since it was already on the YouTube description. When the car first starts, the engine revs to 1500~ RPM or so, then begins to fall like normal until about 1000 RPM where it holds for a second before revving again back up to 1250~ RPM. The RPM then slowly fall down to idle.

Thank you!

Mine does that too, I guess I thought it was normal and part of the engine start process. I've also noticed the same issue when coming to a stop when I engage the clutch. hum, I wonder if this IS and issue.

I have a 2014 L99... However, I let the fuel pump fully pressurize ( and let the fuel indicator reach its fuel level ( whichever It may be) and then I start her up. I did notice it starts easier and no hesitation at all. Again, it may be different on the LS3s...
