Good Affordable Tires?
Hello, everyone I'm on here today to ask the question is there any good affordable tires that i can purchase? I currently still have the stock tires on my 2014 Camaro SS and am now looking into purchasing some new tires. Ive looked at Toyo Tires Proxes R1R and they look good but I'm sure theres some other great tires out there any suggestions?

Hankook Ventus- there are several models in various prices. Lots of people seem to like them. Even Sumitomo is worth a look- had some on an R32 and they were surprisingly good. Just avoid the cheapest ones- the Chinese stuff is terrible.

I have the General G-Max A/S-03. They are a very good all season tire. I'm not sure if you are looking for all season but I bought them last December and they are working well for me. I even drove through some packed down heavy wet snow and didn't have any issues.

BFG Gforce Comp2 would be another good option to consider.

I second this recommendation. I got a set a year ago and have been really happy with them.

The PSS isn't available in stock sizes, and it's also not what I would call "affordable", it is supposed to be an awesome tire though.
The Mickey Thompson Street Comps have been a good street tire for me, however they ride pretty rough, but they feel great on the car because of the stiff sidewalls. They also haven't been getting feathered much on the outside like Comp 2s do if you decide to hit any autocrosses. The plus to the Mickey Thompson is that it's asymetric so you could at least switch tires from left to right if you need to. Either way though, all the tires listed are good options for an affordable street tire.

I like my Sport Comp 2's. No problems, and I drive hard. Cooper RS3-S is a good budget tire

^ These are the 2 main brands I'll be looking at when I replace the Pirelli's. I think I'm leaning towards the Cooper RS3-S.

I'm doing Sumitomo 275/40-20's for $122/ea
They really aren't bad tires- I've raced on Sumi's for years and found their regular street tires are reasonably good at everything and well made.
