Accelaration lag on 4th gear up with tune
Has anyone ever had issues after uploading a tune and got an acceleration lag on 4th gear and up only? When I installed the original tune, everything was fine again. Whenever I upload any tune, the lag comes back. Wondering what the problem may be.

Obviously a poor tune. Probably to aggressive with the timing. The knock sensor gets set off and pulls all the power out.

I've tried all of the pre loaded tunes with the Diablo Sport Trinity and had a tune from Lewis Eaton. Any tune that I uploaded would make the lag for 4th gear and up. I had Lewis Eaton check it, and he said the tune was fine.

Hey man. That sucks to hear. I would immediately undo the tune, call the mail order tuner and request a refund(if possible) and take it to a real tuner. Without any disrespect, it makes zero sense to buy a 60k car and not get it top quality parts and tunes. Especially when it relates to the engine.
If you really are in Guam, then I would just hold off until you get it state side. Or if you have the money, fly someone out there. |
