I have a 1LT V6 RS, and the lights are like the non-RS, came that way.

I'd go talk to the dealer, you payed for them when you bought the RS package. It's an easy install.

It's not that the RS ones are tinted; the inner housing is black instead of chrome.

better check side by side, when you see them alone, its very hard to tell. A side by side like the poted pics does wonders. Mine look regular but htey are the RS lights for sure. Just don't want you to look like an idiot going to the dealer and them being right but... there have been cases with the wrong lights, even mixed match, like 2 RS and 2 regualr light on one car!

The difference is very slight IMO. I looked at a RS and Non-RS side by side. You could kinda tell a difference then but otherwise I couldn't see the difference. Most people will never know one was darker than the other.

Yeah they are so close that one or the other will probably be discontinued soon and will be another collectible early-first-year-only item! ;-]

right up there with GM mark of excellence and park assist?

haha if they keep changing details, we will be able to tell what quarter of the year the cars were built!

Had three non RS and one RS tail lights when delivered. Could not tell much difference, exept when the brake light came on. Dealer ordered them and changed them out in about a week.

There have been similar issues identified at this forum previously. As a result, its one of the items I checked when I picked up my 2SS/RS. Tell your dealer that the wrong lights were installed....they will replace them as that is what you paid for.

I can tell. I think the RS tails look miles better, especially against Victory Red...

The difference is very slight IMO from seeing my non-RS next to a RS. Same with the rims IMO.

RS...

Mine ...
