stock bottom end

how good is a l99 bottom end. I have a whipple pushing 12 psi with 50 shot of nitro with methane injection. dyno 740 flywheel with auto trans breaking down to 626 to the wheel. does anyone know what the max maybe???

The L99 bottom end is just as strong as an LS3 bottom end. Several boosted applications making 700-900+ to the wheels on the stock bottom end and holding up just fine over time (meaning they didn't do just two pulls on the dyno and then put in a safer tune after). Personally I think 750 is the most I'd want to play with, but it's up to you if you want to put your engine to the test. You should have no issues whatsoever at your current level if it's set up and tuned well.

It should hold stock, but a safe bet would be ARP studs for the main caps over the OEM bolts, and ARP head bolts. Cheap insurance. I'd say your getting close to numbers that would warrant forged rods.

Trans is issue. I am at 636 wrhp just had trans rebuilt.
